90 per cent Recovery Rate at Mobile Recycling

[20-01-2010]

Old, broken and the Unused Mobiles are Collected:

Recycling compaines are recovering 90 per cent of the  material by recycling unused mobiles. This process does bring down carbon footprint in the environment. The old, broken and the unused mobiles are collected and these mobiles at the mobile recycling centre are sorted out for reuse.

In the process of extracting the material from the mobile, plastics is used as thermal agent and this acts as a supplement to heat. Plastic benches and traffic cones are made from the recovered plastic. The shredded metals from the shipments are sent for separation of Aluminium, Ferrous metal and copper to a metal refinery.

At the refinery the metals are smelted and in this process some metals are separated where plastic in mobiles act as heat generator. In the process of purification, all the required alloys are added and finished metal blocks are made.

Earn Good Money by Recycling Phones:

These metal blocks are ready for reuse to manufacture new items. The printed boards on mobiles are made up of copper and these boards are treated in copper smelter. This smelter separates copper from precious metals. The metal sludge is sent to the precious metal plant and at the plant, metal like palladium, platinum and gold are separated.

Metal industries use recycled materials and this is about 40 per cent of the extracted material. Huge amount of energy is used to extract metal ore and by using these recycled metals' energy can be saved up to 90 per cent.

With the growing demand for phone recycling you can make good money by selling mobile phones to a mobile phone recycling centre. Find a clear picture about various mobile phone recycling companies before recycling old mobile phone.
